Proper packing and preparation will make your move quicker and easier. Here are some tips, that will help you save time and money.
  • Donate / Dispose unwanted items
  • Make sure furniture and other items are clean, dust, pet hair and spider web free
  • Minimize number of small items by packing them in boxes, bins or totes
  • All drawers must be empty and left in
  • Table lamps and lamp shades must be packed in a box
  • Pictures, mirrors, glass, artwork must be packed in boxes or cardboard
  • We strongly recommend using proper moving boxes. Small, medium and large size
  • Poorly packed / not taped boxes may not be accepted
  • Large amount of garbage bags may not be accepted
  • Avoid packing too many small boxes
  • Pack heavier items in smaller boxes and lighter items in larger boxes
  • Make sure boxes are properly taped, not folded
  • Do not pack boxes half full, unless it’s fragile or a single item
  • Do not over pack boxes very heavy
  • Label your boxes on top and sides
  • Properly mark box or container with fragile items
  • Disassemble your bed(s) / dining table (if possible)
  • Make sure all electronics are disconnected
  • Move smaller items / boxes / yourself (if possible)
  • Reserve parking space for the truck (whenever possible)
  • Have elevator reserved and locked for our exclusive use
  • We may cancel the move if elevator reservations are not made. Minimum charges will apply
  • Please make sure your outdoor items are clean
  • Check and clean grease collector on your BBQ
  • If our team finds the move environment to be too dirty, too crowded, unsafe or if anyone is showing symptoms or not cooperating, we may terminate the move immediately

When booking a move:

Details are very important when booking a move. It helps us accurately estimate the cost, determine the right size truck and number of movers needed to relocate you in the most efficient way. Please be sure to mention the following:

  • Approximate drive time from A to B
  • Elevator / No Elevator
  • Long Hallways
  • Long Pathways
  • Active Construction Site
  • Steep Driveway
  • Heavy, Awkward Items
  • Suggest where to park, if there is a loading bay/zone, front entrance or back

What we don’t move

We are not be able to move the following and other items:

  • Pianos
  • Hot tubs
  • Large safes
  • Items of extraordinary or sentimental value
  • Cash, jewelry, antiques, documents, coins, art
  • Gas powered tools (unless emptied)
  • Liquids, paint, chemicals, flammables, explosives, weapons
  • Any and all illegal items
